Vanilla Creatures in Legacy: Past, Present, Potential

von CabalTherapy (2021-03-02)

Text boxes didn't overflow with words. Sometimes they didn't even have any rules text at all. Where are the vanilla creatures?

von CabalTherapy (2020-04-27)

Currently, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths makes big waves in Legacy and will likely have a lasting impact on the format. But one shouldn't forget about all the material from the previous 27 years. There are several older cards to look at and to reevaluate. Here are some that might come to the fore.

Why You Too Should Play European Highlander

von Ratix (2020-01-06)

Before Commander caught on, players had already been enjoying a singleton format for years. It was named Highlander — originally for the catchphrase of the 1986 cult classic which stipulates that "There can be only one," but the format also seems to want to live forever.

Dont Bore Us - Spicing up Boros Archetypes in Cube

von SanchoN (2018-04-06)

Boros is often typecast for the role as an all-out fast and wide attacker in cubes. In this installment of Cube for Squares we first take a look at the traditional Boros part of the passionate fighter in some of its already thoroughly examined variants. Afterwards we ask if there’s room for the old action hero to widen its repertoire and try out characters more often played by other guilds.
