Cardmarket was hit with another server outage last night on the 21st of January. Our IT team worked diligently to find the cause of the problem and fortunately has managed to resolve the outage for the time being. First off, we here at Cardmarket want to apologize to our users for this and the other server outages the site has faced in recent weeks. The site has benefited from tremendous growth over the last few years, and, as a result, many issues we did not foresee have arisen from our servers. The pandemic also made it difficult for our team to coordinate and solve the server issues we did know about ahead of time. Our entire development team, including our IT specialists, are working diligently every day to find these issues ahead of time to avoid shutdowns and we are confident that we will eventually be able to fully address and deal with these outages.
We're doing more than that though. For the last couple of months, we have been looking for a System Administrator to specifically investigate and address these issues. You can apply for the position on our jobs page and we encourage all those interested to apply as soon as possible.
