There's a lot of speculation about zendikar fetches because people predict it's gonna be released again very very soon.

#TwitterBuildsModern Episode Two: The Drudge of Dredge!

EntertainmentBy JohnnyCroat (2019-03-29)

Graveyard decks come in many shapes and sizes. There's Living End, which is usually brought back out for a spin every time some new cool ETB effects get printed. UB Storm is in effect a graveyard deck, relying on Past in Flames in order to be able to recycle a big heap of cheap cantrips so as to generate massive card advantage and storm count. There's Dredge itself, happy to dump as many cards into the bin as possible, and then cheating several itty bitty bothersome monsters into play, which have a tendency to come back turn after turn after turn. So then, how does this relate to Maze's End? Read on!

Tribal Attractions: The Spirit of Christmas

ConstructedBy Kumagoro (2018-12-19)

Dangerous Propositions: Punishing Fire

ConstructedBy Kumagoro (2018-11-14)

The Modern ban list is a maximum-security prison with 33 inmates, some of which pose a potentially serious threat to the meta. But now that Big Jace is free, anything can happen. Let's review each of the offenders to see if they're eligible for parole. This time, we talk of the burn spell that won't stay away.

Melting Ice: Flipping Thing in the Ice in Legacy

A 7/8 creature for two mana that does not see play in Legacy? That is totally unheard of! But that is currently the horror's fate. I think it is time to melt the ice.

You Shall Not Heal: The Skullcrack Story

ConstructedBy Kumagoro (2018-07-27)

Burn is possibly the oldest strategy in the game, dating back to the wild times of "all bolts" decks. Lifegaining is the natural enemy of Burn and Skullcrack is the natural enemy of life gain. But there are others and Kumagoro divulges their short and fascinating history here.

The Reign of Four-Drops in Modern - A Guide to Survive

The Ideal Deck: Enduring Ideal in Modern

ConstructedBy JohnnyCroat (2018-03-02)

The B&R announcements are some of the most intense moments of the year for serious Magic players. The early ‘spoiler’ that Ensnaring Bridge was going to face the ban hammer was fake, naturally. Still, Lantern players may look elsewhere for a lock deck, now that Jace and Bloodbraid are free. We’re going to look at one potent Standard lock deck and see if it can be successfully ported into Modern. After all, what's the point of controlling their top decks if they are just going to brainstorm.

BW Soul Sisters: No Grey Areas

ConstructedBy JohnnyCroat (2018-02-08)

Pro Tour Rivals of Ixalan saw 5 Colour Humans as its most popular deck, with two such builds making it as far as the Top 8. But, once upon a time, there was a popular mono-White Humans deck: Soul Sisters. Does this deck still have legs? Or has its time passed?
