It is simply not been used in any standard deck so far. The reason the price still is so high is because people still have hope that dinosaurs will become good in the rivals standard.

jackowski626(2017-10-25 06:38)

I still have that question, not long ago it was at 28 bucks and now it's going down to 15 or lower, why???
Isn't anyone playing it anymore or the offer is too big?

MurphyMediji(2017-10-05 16:45)

While, perhaps, easily answered (gang blocked) once in play, this is still essentially 6 mana, uncounterable, kill 2-3 opposing creatures, and should see heavy play at the PT & GP Warsaw.

redscores2(2017-10-03 14:15)

all the current meta decks have no answer to the tyrant and nearly none play a equally sized creature. This guy can break the meta if played right.

joaogulaius(2017-09-29 13:44)

gonna be 5 euros... this is the most overrrated card ever. scarab god is 16 euros... this card is worth 16?? gonna be a 5 euros playable mythic

Lichnee(2017-09-27 12:10)

The akward moment when control decks think about untargeted removal 3:)

AGUILA(2017-09-23 13:42)

Be careful blue decks with this creature!!!! is enormous and can't be countered, 1 on the sideboard in green decks and can be search with green pact.

Rotation Grief: Dominaria (Part 1)

ConstructedBy Kumagoro (2019-09-25)

The Standard Rotation looms closer with each passing day. The coming meta will be shaped, mostly, as a direct consequence of rotation. We're near the end of this journey of grief (or jubilation, depending on who you ask) as we look into the white, blue, and black cards we'll have to remove from our Standard decks when Dominaria rotates out.

Rotation Grief: Ixalan (Part 2)

ConstructedBy Kumagoro (2019-08-28)

The Standard Rotation looms closer with each passing day. How the meta will change, at first, will be a direct consequence of the disappearance of four rotating sets. We continue this journey of grief (or jubilation, depending on who you ask) by looking at the red, green, multicolored, and colorless cards we'll have to remove when Ixalan rotates.

The Cat's Whiskers for FNMs

SpoilersBy HansD (2019-04-30)

Standard has been experiencing a renaissance the past few sets, and War of the Spark looks to continue that trend. One of the most exciting aspects of Standard is that it has been a brewer's paradise, with off-meta decks such as Chromatic Black, Bant Vannifar, Five-Color Guildgates, and more proving the existence of creative deckbuilding in the format. Looking through the spoilers for WAR has shown that this set, more than any other in recent memory, is chock-full of build-arounds that could provide the building blocks for new archetypes. Early Forecast: What Rises and Falls with the Early WAR Spoilers

SpoilersBy HansD (2019-04-02)

Even with the very little we've gotten so far, War of the Spark looks to change the landscape of Standard in a big way. The biggest impact will be the injection of 36 planeswalkers, some which look to be format-defining, but that's not the only cards that have caught my eye. In this early forecast, I want to take a look at which cards might come out as winners and losers of the new format!

It's All About Prime Speaker Vannifar

ConstructedBy HansD (2019-03-19)

To say that Standard is thriving would be an understatement. With a multitude of fully-viable build-around cards and a deep pool of supporting cards, this Standard might be one of the most diverse Standards in the history of Magic. Brewers all over the Internet have been sharing new and exciting lists every week, it seems, and the card I want to focus on today is a "fixed" version of a card that's banned in Modern: Prime Speaker Vannifar.

What Happened to Standard Stompy

ConstructedBy Kumagoro (2018-11-22)

The Standard meta that ended its run in October was much friendlier to monocolored decks than the current one seems to be. As it turns out, getting access to half the Ravnican Guilds favors multicolor decks, who knew? And among the victims of this new trend is our old friend Steel Leaf Stompy.
