The price of this is relatively low because it's not the "best thing" you can be doing in standard right now. Dispel being in the format and being mainboarded a lot is awfully unforgiving for this.

However, the modern Naya and Abzan Company decks are not going anywhere and with good reason; because when you have access to cards like Voice of Resurgence, this card is utterly nuts. Fetching up the likes of Drana, Brimaz, Loxodon Smiter, Voice of Resurgence, or fetching into the Spike Feeder combo and gaining infinite life.

MetalF(10.07.2015 09:23)

The price is crashing because this card will be in the Magic Origins Clash Pack as a 1-of.

Xardian(09.06.2015 09:18)

This is legal but Dig Through Time is not... Modern format make me laugh a lot!

Coltpeacemaker(11.05.2015 21:36)

This card should be banned, it's awesome! Every Green Aggro deck will play it!

hugo87(11.05.2015 12:11)

In the right deck, this card can almost win the game by itself.

Zollverein(10.05.2015 16:41)

A very good adqusition. High versatility, excellent if you like to create your own decks just for fun. Also viable in competitive!

Psychatogpl(09.05.2015 21:09)

It will go high in price for sure and GP Paris is helping it now

Osbagen(09.05.2015 16:36)

This card is insane! I don't think it will replace Pod, but could be a solid base for aggro decks, which run out of fuel after few turns. I'll get the 4x soon, as I expect a rapid increase of the price

Piromancer(09.05.2015 15:02)

Good card to build a deck based on it , even without a combo inside.

Leonite7(09.05.2015 14:52)

I think it is perhaps a bit overhyped but that it will definitely push forward one or two decks that had been hanging around the fringes of playability and people will spend the next year and a half of standard trying to "break" it.

Anomen(09.05.2015 12:49)

good card for all sorts of ramp / trick into play unpleasant creatures / variations

mcimba(08.05.2015 19:18)

Great card, but I don't think it will make the impact in modern as people say

Darkiwi(08.05.2015 14:14)

Excellent card, used in both Standard and Modern decks.
In Modern, this card brought back to life combo decks revolving around Melira, Sylvok Outcast or Anafenza, Kin Tree Spirit and persist creatures such as Kitchen Finks.

snake948(08.05.2015 10:46)

Each of the creature cards can have converted mana cost 3 or less. It’s not the total converted mana cost of the two cards.

noqxo(08.05.2015 09:28)

This card rises in interest due to its recent success in the standard and modern format. It is also referenced as "the green dig through time".

Elves Making a Comeback with Kaldheim

By ElonThragtusk (2021-02-22)

With Kaldheim giving us so many new Elves, it's no surprise how everybody thought the tribe was finally making a big return. However, it's been out of the meta for so long that everyone lost count. It would probably take a miracle … Are the new cards, together with the most recent bans, just that?

Kaldheim Spotlight: Valki // Tibalt

Kaldheim Spotlight: Pyre of Heroes

By Kumagoro (2021-01-11)

The Best-Designed Cards in Magic History

Zendikar Rising has brought us brand-new modal double-faced cards, spell in front and land on the back. Suddenly they are all the rage, making waves in formats all the way back to Modern. It's not hard to find the reason why — in the possibility of decks not running any lands at all.

5 Exciting Build-Arounds from War of the Spark

By HansD (2019-04-30)

Standard has been experiencing a renaissance the past few sets, and War of the Spark looks to continue that trend.
