OMG this got so Banned xD
Way the go in losing money fellas xD

CacatuaVerde(2017-01-09 20:15)

boooom! banned in modern. Good Bye PiF, Jeskai Ascendancy, and company

TCupcake(2016-09-05 13:07)

It is kind of wild to see a card as new as this in such desperate need of a reprint. Probably one of the best commons ever printed.

Butanero(2015-05-27 11:03)

Amazing. Information about the opponent's hand, card draw, and possible storm for ANT or just Flusterstorm. A+

DrakkarHeart(2015-05-13 16:25)

This is a perfect thoughtzeise combined with draw spells....it was just too good to pass it out.

thechrom(2015-05-12 23:08)

Play with 56 cards decks ! Combine it with Street wraith and play 52 cards decks ;)!

hugo87(2015-05-12 11:40)

This is a great example of how a simple design can be great: 0 mana for a sorcery speed peek. I'll take it.

Piromancer(2015-05-09 15:30)

Playing with informations about your opponents hand, drawing a card and all these without tapping a land is always good

noqxo(2015-05-08 16:33)

This is a card heavily used in modern and legacy combo decks, since it cantrips you "for free" and additionally gains you information about the opponents hand.

Fallatus(2015-05-08 08:03)

Strong in storm decks and in combination with specific discards.

Platinumflux(2015-05-07 22:34)

Always been curious about this, why is the foil worth so much more?

SpoilersBy HansD (2019-04-30)

Standard has been experiencing a renaissance the past few sets, and War of the Spark looks to continue that trend. Looking through the spoilers for WAR has shown that this set, more than any other in recent memory, is chock-full of build-arounds that could provide the building blocks for new archetypes. Reflecting Pool - 2018 in Review Part 1

EntertainmentBy HansD (2018-12-04)

In retrospect, I couldn't have picked a better year to start writing for Cardmarket. There were so many things that happened this year - whether it was the ever-changing Modern metagame or the release of Arena – that it's difficult to parse through and pick the most memorable news that came out of 2018. Considering I already tested my editors' patience with my Standard Golgari Midrange Compendium two weeks ago, I decided to split this article into two parts that will span two weeks. Without further ado, let's dive right into arguably the year's biggest storyline!

Top 3 Decks for Legacy from Pro Tour 25

Event CoverageBy CabalTherapy (2018-08-15)

The Next Step for Storm

ConstructedBy CabalTherapy (2018-08-01)

No more Shaman, no more Probe. Storm lives on but will have to adapt and change much like everything else. Seizing opponents' thoughts and wrapping them in tendrils is still going to be one of the best ways of ending games of Legacy, even if its players are forced to adapt.

Death's Shadow has been one of the most dominant cards in Modern these recent years. In this series of articles, Rone discusses its evolution and the various shells that thrive on self-inflicted pain. Part one is focused on the Grixis shell and its past, present and future.

Alternative Pitch: The Force of Will Story

EntertainmentBy Kumagoro (2018-06-29)

Over the years, alternative costs have become common, appearing in a wide range of different forms, the most thrilling of which involve the opportunity to cast a spell by spending resources that aren't mana. Force of Will and its brethren are still the mainstays of this category, but are far from alone.

The Mage-Ring Bully Pulpit: Modern's Big Linearity Problem

Zero Thrill: The Pact of Negation Story

ConstructedBy Kumagoro (2018-03-14)

Were Force of Will available in Modern, the format would be dramatically altered. And yet, Modern does already contain a piece of non-conditional zero-cost countermagic, and while it's not played as much as Vintage and Legacy's signature counterspell, it's been tentatively around since Modern's early days.

The Reign of Four-Drops in Modern - A Guide to Survive

A Case Study on the Fall of Bant Eldrazi

ConstructedBy HansD (2018-02-02)

Modern evolves as new cards enter the format, broken enablers are banned, and archetypes are discovered through off-the-wall experimentation. What used to be a tier-one archetype can in a few months be outclassed, outdated, and outmatched by the new hotness. Bant Eldrazi is one such archetype that now finds itself looking in from the outside of a format it once used to rule. How did this powerful deck manage to quickly fall from the top of the pile?

Modern is the Hero Pro Tour Magic Needs

EntertainmentBy Andifeated (2018-02-01)

Everybody is excited about the Modern Pro Tour this weekend and that's for a good reason. Since Pro Tour Oath of the Gatewatch in early 2016, there has been no Pro Tour featuring this constructed format despite its huge fan base, which has consistently grown since its introduction in 2011. This article elaborates on its reasons for vanishing and the necessity of its return.
