@ThugaPT: it’s actually restricted in Vintage. It is a 4 of in basicly all blue Legacy decks. Think most Legacy players want a playset of the old border (me included).

ThugaPT(07.04.2021 16:52)

It's a staple in many vintage decks as a cantrip(which could probably want the only version of this with an old border) and it's also used in commander in which people like to 'pimp out' their decks. I predict this to be another Jeweled Lotus, where people thought the foil price was outrageous and would drop like a rock, except it didn't. And the lotus is only used in commander, this is used in vintage aswell

post-scriptum(29.03.2021 08:08)

More than € 400 for a foil common that's banned in Modern and restricted in Vintage! This is not a nerdy hobby anymore but a weird investment.

Woltitolt(27.02.2021 18:27)

This will be one expensive foil

Closed-Cardmarket-Account-68262(27.05.2015 10:49)

Great card, secondary compared to Brainstorm, which just plays a different league. However, great for digging, reducing land amount, or shuffle Brainstorm.

Going Black in Pauper

By PR0boszcz (2020-11-04)

Black is commonly known as the weakest of the colors in the Pauper format. However, even if it may not be as powerful as some, it uses unique tools that none of the other colors can offer. Access to board sweepers, discard, and various removal options make black an important part of the metagame.

Zendikar Rising Spotlight: Sea Gate Stormcaller in Legacy

By Andifeated (2020-09-08)

Legacy has long been defined by its powerful instants and sorceries for one mana or less. The best threats in this format often take advantage of decks full of those spells. Zendikar Rising brings us another such interaction, a new creature that has the potential to make it big in Legacy.

Zendikar Rising Spotlight: Ruin Crab in Nonrotating Formats

By ElonThragtusk (2020-09-07)

In the last few years, mill decks have gained new removal and counterspells, but no useful mill cards. This lack of support is the main thing that keeps them from moving up in the meta. How likely is it that a new and, in the case of this deck, better Hedron Crab helps with this issue in Modern and other formats?

Zendikar Rising Spotlight: Jace, Mirror Mage in Legacy

By Andifeated (2020-08-31)

The Legacy format was shaken by cheap planeswalker cards in 2019, with a bunch of story-relevant characters pushed onto overpowered cards. Jace has long been deprived of the throne. The new three-mana version from Zendikar Rising may not change that, but the card is definitely worth a look.

Why Empty the Warrens Is the Best Storm Spell in 2020

By CabalTherapy (2020-08-11)

Tendrils of Agony may still be the most-feared storm spell ever printed, frequently providing an immediate kill. But more often than not Empty the Warrens edges out the black card on overall efficiency. This is especially true in the Legacy format of today. Let's look at why you should empty your warrens in 2020.

Ninjas Sneaking to the Top in Legacy

Pauper on the Horizon

The Next Step for Storm

By CabalTherapy (2018-08-01)

No more Shaman, no more Probe. Storm lives on but will have to adapt and change much like everything else. Seizing opponents' thoughts and wrapping them in tendrils is still going to be one of the best ways of ending games of Legacy, even if its players are forced to adapt.

Exploiting Delve: BUG Delve(-r) in Legacy

Zero Thrill: The Pact of Negation Story

By Kumagoro (2018-03-14)

Were Force of Will available in Modern, the format would be dramatically altered.
