#TwitterBuildsModern Episode Two: The Drudge of Dredge!
EntertainmentBy JohnnyCroat (2019-03-29)
Graveyard decks come in many shapes and sizes. There's Living End, which is usually brought back out for a spin every time some new cool ETB effects get printed. UB Storm is in effect a graveyard deck, relying on Past in Flames in order to be able to recycle a big heap of cheap cantrips so as to generate massive card advantage and storm count. There's Dredge itself, happy to dump as many cards into the bin as possible, and then cheating several itty bitty bothersome monsters into play, which have a tendency to come back turn after turn after turn. So then, how does this relate to Maze's End? Read on!
Last time they reprinted fetch lands was on khans and after that wizard told us that it was mistake and they will never reprint fetch lands on "normal" set
Scalding tarn is slowly dropping in value.
Is that because of a growing fear of a coming reprint? Or is the need for it not as desperate anymore?
Doesn't mean to say that they wont be printed in the set that follows Battle For Zendikar...
According to MaRo there will be a cycle of lands in BFZ which will NOT be the fetches. Causing today's spike of all ZEN fetches.
There will be no reprint of this card in Battle for Zendikar (Just confirmed at blogatog).
Fetchlands have provided us players with a brand new way of deckbuilding: Wastelands are not what they used to be. Multicolor decksdecks are easier to build. Thinning out our deck makes a difference, let alone the way it's boosted Brainstorm
Seeing what Wizards has done with the Splinter Twin and Vendillion Clique reprints on MM15, and given the increase in market availability for Modern, there is a HIGH chance of Fetches being reprinted in Battle for Zendikar, meaning the price of this card will be going down to the 5-15€ range.
There's a lot of speculation about zendikar fetches because people predict it's gonna be released again very very soon.
