War of the Spark Mythic Edition Offers MTG's Most Iconic Planeswalker

When the Mythic Editions came out, most Magic: The Gathering players wondered when they would be getting Jace, the Mind Sculptor. Well finally, he's here! War of the Spark: Mythic Edition is the only reasonable home for this planeswalker labeled "better than all". He's not alone though. As with the other Mythic Editions, Jace is joined by seven other legendary planeswalkers – from War of the Spark and from the annals of MTG history, all of which have new exciting illustrations to go with their gorgeous full-art frames. War of the Spark: Mythic Edition has an MSRP of $ 250.00 (250,00 €) and contains 24 booster packs, eight of which will come with one of the planeswalkers, so you'll eventually be getting all! These editions have sold out quickly in the past and are on very limited offer, so be sure to get it as soon as it goes on sale on 3 May 2019.

The New Kids on the Block

Two new planeswalkers are lurking in this Mythic Edition, both of which are interesting and extremely powerful, albeit for different reasons. Both are also crucial to the War of the Spark story! Of course, these planeswalkers are Gideon Blackblade and Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. Gideon redefines stat lines, being a 3-mana indestructible 4/4 on your turn with upsides in the form of his two loyalty abilities. Nicol Bolas has the absurd ability to use any loyalty abilities on any field, along with three devastatingly powerful loyalty abilities of his own.

Whether you're looking for the latest Standard powerhouse or a new Commander Superfriends all-star, this expansion has got you covered. But new planeswalkers are only a quarter of the available full-art walkers on offer here, so let's talk about the old standbys joining Jace.

From Modern to Commander, WAR: Mythic Edition Goes All-Out

Wizards of the Coast sure knows their formats because there is a great mix of Commander, Standard, and Modern all-stars in War of the Spark: Mythic Edition. Ugin, the Spirit Dragon finally gets the full-art treatment for Tron-heads out there, while Tezzeret the Seeker, Garruk, Apex Predator, and Sarkhan Unbroken are around for Commander lovers. Finally, Nahiri, the Harbinger is around for those of you who like cheating Emrakuls into play. Whatever your format, this MTG Mythic Edition has got something for you, so don't you dare miss out on this one!
