The new set gives us Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, a Human Knight that gets stronger the more creatures we amass on our side of the battlefield. The creature also creates a 1/1 Human token for each opponent whenever it attacks. So when we use Adeline as a commander, swarming the board with Humans is the name of our game.
Building around a Human tribal commander is not that hard, as Humans are one of the most prolific tribes in Magic. However, limiting ourselves to just white makes things a bit more tricky. As a result, I like Humans who can do double duty. Creatures like Bounty Agent, Cathar Commando, and Devout Chaplain are bodies on the board that can also work as removal spells. Ambitious Farmhand // Seasoned Cathar, Keeper of the Accord, and Weathered Wayfarer help us not miss our land drops, while Mangara, the Diplomat, Esper Sentinel, and Moon-Blessed Cleric dig into our deck.
Moon-Blessed Cleric is particularly noteworthy, since it'll find one of our game-winning enchantments, foremost the on-theme slam-dunk Cathars' Crusade. With the Crusade in play, when we attack one of our three opponents with Adeline, we not only get three tokens but we also get to put three +1/+1 counters on all our creatures. Alternatively, we can use Anointed Procession to create twice as many of those tokens instead. Both these cards synergize very well with Visions of Glory, which turns an army into, well, two armies.
Intrepid Adversary and Mirror Entity can be late game mana sinks that pump all our creatures, allowing us to finish off a game. Our boards will be very vulnerable to board wipe, so we should use Lena, Selfless Champion, Flawless Maneuver, and Unbreakable Formation to prevent total wipeouts. Additionally, Angel of Glory's Rise can help us recover all Humans from our graveyard afterward.
Adeline is a flexible commander whose deck you could take in many different directions. Whether you focus on the tribal aspect, on tokens, or just want to beat face with Adeline Voltron, it gives you the option to play many underrated Human cards that might not find a place anywhere else. I have built Adeline with the limitation of only using Human creatures, except for one Angel. So I have to mention that this deck also works well with Rick, Steadfast Leader as a commander. However, you might want to ask your playgroup first before playing that version of the deck.
