It's reprint time! The second reprint booster is out, aptly named Revival Collection Vol. 2 and the Premium format is finally getting the love it deserves. The set contains 79 cards (seven ZR, six SGR, 18 RRR, 24 RR, 24 R) and all cards are reprints, meant to boost Standard decks into the Premium format. It also includes all 24 clans making it a desirable set for all players. As it's a special set, each pack is a little different containing only three cards (two R + one RR or greater). The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of each Revival Collection Vol. 2 booster pack is approximately 4,00 €.
One of the charms of this set is the reprint of every Zeroth Dragon and Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze. The Zeroth Dragons are gigantic beings born from Gyze itself. In the Cardfight!! Vanguard TCG, they are cards without a printed clan, but a nation's name instead. So every single clan gets their Zeroth Dragon according to their own nation, rather than their clan.
However, Revival Collection Vol. 2 has more than giant dragons. It also includes old powerhouses that still define the Premium meta like Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord "The Purge", one of the strongest Dragonic Overlords and Holy Divine Knight, Gancelot Peace Saver, a Royal Paladin staple in every sense of the word.
The gigantic card pool of the Premium format is very appealing, featuring old units with amazing and diverse effects. However, the scarcity of reprints has kept new players away from the format due to its high price point. Revival Collection Vol. 2 looks to fill that gap and it seems to have succeeded.
