V Trial Deck 03: A Leon Soryu Story

V Trial Deck 03: Leon Soryu is the third pre-constructed deck of the V series, this time depicting the Aqua Force clan. It includes a 50-card deck, three Accel Gift Markers (one of them featuring the artwork of Marine General of the Restless Tides, Algos), a playmat, and a starter guide. It has a manufacturer standard retail price (MSRP) of 11,50 € and it will be available for all Cardfighters on 31 August 2018. This Trial Deck also includes a holographic version of four different cards, like Navalgazer Dragon and Tear Knight, Theo.

Release the Kraken!

V Trial Deck 03 centers on Leon Soryu, a boy fascinated with the offshore winds and everything sea related, which explains his use of the Aqua Force clan in the Cardfight!! Vanguard anime. This clan has always been about triggering abilities on specific attacks, using self [Stand] abilities to guarantee that the player hits the number of battles he wants. Marine General of the Restless Tides, Algos is the best example that this deck has to offer, standing himself or an ally rear-guard while attacking.

Just like the 2013 Leon Soryu Trial Deck, Navalgazer Dragon is the unit that Aqua Force users want to ride as their Vanguard. This Tear Dragon synergizes very well with the new Accel Imaginary Gift since he gets to [Stand] a rear-guard and gain extra 10000 [Power] while attacking if it’s the third battle of that turn or more. This allows the Aqua Force player to [Stand] the rear-guard in the Accel circle that already has an extra 10000 [Power] and perform a second attack with an already buffed unit. The opponent must use a lot of [Shield] if he wants to guard such attacks.

This Trial Deck has 12 other different cards with simpler abilities, so anyone can quickly catch-up to the game and fully enjoy it.

Further Support for the Sea Dragons

This pre-constructed deck is aimed at new players, providing a ready-to-play 50-card deck and a solid introduction to the game. However, this deck can also be upgraded with the new support that Champions of the Asia Circuit supplies to Aqua Force. This means that players can take a casual or competitive approach with their favorite clan. Either on a kitchen countertop or in a Bushiroad World Qualifier tournament, Aqua Force will definitely see much gameplay.
