Set Information

2020 Tin of Lost Memories – Bigger and Better Than Ever Before!

It’s summertime, and in the Yu-Gi-Oh! world that also means: TIN TIME! In 2019, the tin’s design was based on the Gold Sarcophagus. This year, however, the tin’s design is based on the Tablet of Lost Memories, depicting the duel between the Pharaoh and Priest Seto. The 2020 Tin of Lost Memories contains reprints from sets like Savage Strike, Dark Neostorm, Rising Rampage, Chaos Impact, and three brand new cards! The cards contained in Mega Packs (three per tins), each contains: one prismatic secret rare, two ultra rares, two super rares, one rare, and 12 commons, making for a total of 24 cards per pack!

Reprints in Alternate Rarities

Prismatic secret rares make a return in this year’s 2020 Tin of Lost Memories, as well as reprinted cards from past sets in different rarities than their original releases. This is great for both collectors, veteran players, and players on a budget, as certain high rarity cards are more available. Meanwhile, previous commons and rares are getting a foil upgrade to bling out your deck or collection! Some highly sought-after cards include the Tenji cards from Rising Rampage, Gnomaterial from Darkness Neostorm, I:P Masquerena from Chaos Impact, and much more!

The Matchless Dragoon

Dark Magician and Red-Eyes Black Dragon have fused together into a nearly unstoppable force: the Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon! The Dark Dragoon is a Fusion Monster that has already made quite the name for itself in the Japanese metagame (OCG). A lot of decks are even going as far as including both a copy of Dark Magician and Red-Eyes Black Dragon just to bring it out. Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon can destroy an opponent’s monster and inflict damage equal to its ATK for each Normal Monster used for its Fusion Summon. Meanwhile, it can’t be destroyed or targeted by any card effects itself. If that’s not enough, it has a quick-effect to negate any card or effect and then gain 1000 ATK (upon its already impressive attack stat of 3000).

The 2020 Tin of Lost Memories is sure to leave a big mark on competitive and casual gameplay in the YGO TCG universe! Keep an eye out for these tins which releases on 27 August 2020!
