Circuit Break is the 65th Yu-Gi-Oh! expansion and will be released in Europe on the 19th of October this year. It is the second core set of the Link era and will come with atleast 10 Link monsters. The set contains the usual 100 cards, divided into 8 Secret Rares, 10 Ultra Rares, 14 Super Rares, 20 Rares and 48 Commons. Every booster will come with 9 cards and every display with 24 boosters.

Circuit Break will focus on cards used by some of the the main characters from the new Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime VRAINS, airing in Japan since the beginning of May 2017. Themes like "Gouki" and "Trickstar", first introduced in Code of the Duelist, will get further support in Circuit Break, including their very own Link monsters!

But we will also get to play with some brand-new themes: "Altergeist", an archetype based on mythological poltergeists used by Ema Bessho in the anime.

Also the "Crawler", a group of Insect-Type monsters with names based on the human nervous system. The last new archetype is the "Vullet" theme. The name is a wordplay on the word "bullet", which is fitting since all of them are Dark Dragon-Type monsters designed like living weapons.

Their boss monster is also the cover monster of Circuit Break: "Varrel Load Dragon", a powerful Link-4 monster that can't be targeted by other monster effects. Furthermore it can decrease the power of opposing monsters and even take control of them when it attacks.

But Circuit Break also comes with support for some older decks like "Mermail" and "Fire King". But also the "Metaphys" archetype will get some new members in this set. So far we only have "Metaphys Horus" and "Metaphys Armed Dragon", but in Circuit Break new versions of "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys", "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus" and "Tyrant Dragon" will join the party. Overall a very exciting set!
