We are looking for an experienced Back-end Developer with a strong TypeScript background to join our IT team. As a Back-end Developer at Cardmarket, you will work on our website and RESTful API to improve and extend existing as well as design and implement new modules and features.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on implementing new and further maintaining and improving existing modules and features of Cardmarket’s website family and internal web applications and our RESTful API.
Troubleshoot and debug to maintain the technical quality of our products.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Gather and address technical and design requirements as well as researching creative ideas and evaluating their feasibility.
Closely collaborate with and coordinate with different departments like support, marketing, product management, and business intelligence.
A study, vocational training, or apprenticeship in software development, programming, or similar experience.
Extensive experience with TypeScript, routine with AWS Lambda, experience with AWS Serverless, Amazon S3, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon Aurora, and a mastery of version control system (preferably GIT).
Experience with Swagger/OAS is a plus.
Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, and Test-driven Development with unit tests.
Creativity, flexibility, quick thinking, and the capability of working in an agile team, experience in working with Scrum is a plus.
The capability of working independently and carefully as well as together with a team, paired with a problem-solving attitude.
Fluent in English – verbal and written.
An affinity for trading cards and games is desirable.
